IST introduced its new Shock-Timer-Plus 3D version 2 (STP-3Dv2) low cost tri-axial shock, temperature and humidity recorder.

The reusable battery powered instrument captures tri-axial shocks above user selected threshold with date/time stamping along with time periodic temperature and humidity atmospherics. The Instrument features Bluetooth wireless data communications for setup and download, trigger alarm indicators, install time delay feature and six month battery life for long deployments and 10,000 reading event memory and data export to standard excel spreadsheet format.

The unit measures 17g full scale and is designed for measuring shipping and handling environmental shock and impact hazards on larger palletized, crated or containerized shipments as well as within actual C-containers.

The new low coat unit pricing is well under $1,000 with published quantity discounts available. Units are presently shipping from shelf stock.
