TotalEnergies Renews Contract for Bibby WaveMaster 1 SOV’s Services

Last week, Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH delivered a new LHM 800 High Rise mobile harbor crane to its customer Port Esbjerg.The delivery took place shortly after an incident in the Kiel Canal, in which an LHM 600 ordered by Port Esbjerg was damaged while passing under the Holtenau High Bridge.Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH said it sent service engineers and technical specialists to assess the situation on site and to assist with the recovery immediately after the incident. Dutch shipowner Spliethoff and AEGIRMarine signed an agreement for the supply the stern tube sealing parts and services for Spliethoff’s fleet.According to its website, Spliethoff is a century-old company that operates a fleet of more than 50 Dutch flagged, 1A ice-classed, multipurpose vessels, ranging from 12,000 to 23,000 DWT.AEGIR‐Marine is a service‐centric stern tube seal producer and service provider. Bernhard Schulte Takes Delivery of Hybrid SOV from Ulstein

Norwegian Ulstein shipyard has delivered service operation vessel (SOV) Windea Jules Verne to Bernhard Schulte Offshore.The battery hybrid vessel will work at the Merkur offshore wind farm offshore Germany, where it will be operating for GE Renewable Energy.The vessel is based on the ULSTEIN SX195 design from Ulstein Design & Solutions AS. The Windea Jules Verne measures 93.4 meters in length and 18 meters in the beam. It has accommodation for 120 people. The vessel will serve as a ‘home away from home’ for offshore wind service engineers as well as the ship’s crew.

This service is aimed at improving asset uptime via remote access for customers of Wärtsilä’s Voyage business, thereby substantially reducing the need for physical service attendance.
