The Aigua Sea School in Mallorca purchased multiple NAUTIS Desktop Trainers to provide advanced simulator training for its students. The NAUTIS Desktop Trainers were delivered and installed by VSTEP at the Aigua headquarters in Palma.

The Aigua Sea School has two training bases in the Mediterranean, with its headquarters in Palma de Mallorca and another school in Malta. The Aigua Sea School has a longstanding exceptional reputation as a leading RYA Training Center. The NAUTIS Desktop Trainers allow the Aigua Sea School to provide certified training in compliance with the latest STCW requirements.

The NAUTIS Desktop Trainers allow training of many competencies, including ECDIS Model Course 1.27, Radar/ARPA Model Course 1.07, VHF Radio Communications, Navigational Instruments (GPS, AIS, Echo Sounder, Speed Log) and advanced ship handling and maneuvering.

Steve Brand, Director at Aigua Sea School, “We are very happy with the purchase of these advanced desktop simulators. The professional installation and support received from VSTEP during the project has been excellent. These new simulators will allow us to further enhance the training curriculum at our Sea School.”

NAUTIS maritime simulators are DNV-certified, developed by VSTEP and range from desktop to full mission bridge.
