Statoilhydro and Kongsberg Maritime Join Forces

StatoilHydro and Kongsberg Maritime have made a general agreement for the operation of automation and safety systems delivered by Kongsberg Maritime onboard StatoilHydro's installations in the . The agreement has a duration of 2 years and covers Statfjord A, B & C and the platforms at Haltenbanken. The agreement secures that StatoilHydro has access to the necessary resources and technology for optimal operations of the extensive Kongsberg Maritime process control & automation equipment systems installed on the platforms in addition to covering any marine equipment installed, such as ballasting systems.
