Decision Sciences International Corporation (DSIC) today announced it has been awarded a $2.1 million contract by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) to build a new type of portable-electronics scanner for threat detection. The Titan Corporation has been awarded an indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Contract for engineering and technical services to the U.S. Navy's NAVSEA Shipbuilding Office (NAVSHIPSO). As a multiple award five-year contract (one base year and four one-year options) having a potential ceiling value for Titan in excess of $1.05 billion, Titan will compete against seven other companies for task orders to provide NAVSHIPSO habitability, propulsion, electrical, auxiliary and electronics systems engineering and technical services for ships, as well as shore stations. "Through this engineering and technical services contract, Titan will continue to provide systems installation services for the Fleet," said Gene Ray, Titan's chairman, president and CEO.

The Titan Corporation has been awarded an indefinite-quantity, five-year U.S. Navy contract having a potential value of $169 million. Awarded by the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia for the Naval Sea Systems Center (NAVSEA) Shipbuilding Support Office (NAVSHIPSO) in Philadelphia, the contract provides engineering and technical support services for modification of shipboard equipment and systems. This was a multiple award with five other firms receiving prime contracts under the award.
