Fleet management solutions company BASS said it has achieved a recent deal in the Taiwanese shipping sector by securing its maiden contract in that bustling far eastern market. Maritime software company BASS starts the fourth quarter by clinching a fleet-wide system upgrade for the subsidiary of the K-Line group Taiyo Nippon Kisen Co., Ltd (TNKC). ABB wins order for energy management systems for five multi-purpose vessels; Energy and fleet management systems will improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions for five Rickmers vessels.
