Paradox Marine, New Executive Leadership

Transas HQ Moved to Ireland

As of July 2003, the International Headquarters of the marine IT specialist, Transas, has moved to Cork, Ireland. The move to Ireland is a logical consequence of the company’s ongoing expansion into international markets. Today Transas is represented in some 90 countries worldwide with more Transas offices to be established within the coming months. Tidewater Reorganizes Management

Tidewater Inc. announced that, effective immediately, Cliffe F. Laborde, Larry T. Rigdon and Dean E. Taylor have been promoted to the level of Executive Vice President. Each will report directly to William C. O'Malley, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Cliffe F. Laborde will continue as General Counsel of the company. His responsibilities will also include Corporate Administration, Information Technology, Employee Benefits, Insurance and Human Resource Management, including recruiting, personnel, training and vessel crewing, all on a worldwide basis. He will also assume responsibility for overseeing management of Quality Shipyards. Larry T. Rigdon will continue his full operations responsibilities for the United States Gulf of Mexico, California and Alaska.

Finnlines Consolidates, Announces Appointments

Finnlines' subsidiaries, Finncarriers Oy Ab, a company specialized at sea transportation and FG-Shipping Oy Ab, a company specialized at ship management and technology, were recently merged to the mother company Finnlines Plc. In addition, port operation companies of Finnlines, Finnsteve Oy Ab, which is operating the ports of Helsinki and Oy A.E.Erickson Ab, which is operating the port of Turku, were also merged into one company called Finnsteve Oy Ab. Finnlines' German subsidiary Poseidon Schiffahrt AG has changed the company name to Finnlines Deutschland AG. The new company structure is in force since 1 January 2001. Shipping and Sea Transport Division includes Finnlines Cargo Services and Finnlink Services. Asser Ahleskog is in charge of Finnlines Cargo Services.
