Hume New W&O CEO, Guidry Advances in Pon

W&O, supplier of marine valves, pipe, fittings, engineered products and valve automation systems, announced that Michael Hume has been appointed President and CEO of W&O. He has been serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2009. Jack Guidry, former president and CEO of W&O, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Pon and CEO of PVI, one of Pon’s American holding companies, which owns W&O, DMC-Carter Chambers and AT Controls. W&O Distributes Airvac Wastewater System

W&O Races from Gulf to Atlantic

Twelve employees of W&O, including the CEO and members of senior leadership, participated in the Ragnar Relay Race from Nov. 14-15 between Clearwater and Daytona Beach, Fla. W&O is a supplier of marine valves, pipe, fittings, engineered products and valve automation systems. “As a company, we’ve always been focused on fitness and overall wellness by providing our employees with opportunities to take part in company-sponsored physical activities and fitness programs,” said Jack Guidry, President and CEO of W&O.

W&O Supply Appoints Two

W&O Supply, a supplier of marine valves, pipes, fittings and valve automation services, hired Jim Baur as general manager of the Automation Division. Working in conjunction with W&O Supply’s subsidiary, Valve Automation & Control, Jim will be responsible for launching and overseeing the company’s automation expertise to a nationwide audience. “Jim is a valuable addition to our team, especially in our initiative of expanding and promoting our valve automation capabilities across the country,” said David Turner, W&O Supply’s President and CEO. Prior to joining W&O Supply, Baur was vice president of Marine for Wartsila North America. W&O Supply also hired Jenny Brandies as the new director of material management.

W & O Supply Announces Leadership Changes

W&O Supply, a supplier of marine valves, pipe, fittings, engineered products and valve automation systems, announces a change in leadership. David Turner, currently the President and CEO of W&O Supply, has been promoted to the position of Director of Business Development for Pon Power, W&O Supply’s parent company, and Chairman of W&O Supply. In his new role, Turner will be tasked with growing the Pon division on a global basis during the next five years. Additionally, Turner will leverage marketing and growth opportunities in existing markets as well as execute against Pon Power’s global marine business growth goals. Turner’s new position requires his relocation to Holland where he will work out of the Pon Power headquarters in Almere, The Netherlands.
