Turkish Navy Tug Accident Kills 10

Reuters reported that Turkish navy tugboat, TCG Degirmendere, capsized Monday while docked for repairs at Aegean coast Izmir Shipyard, resulting in the death of eight military personnel and two civilian workers. Seventeen other military personnel were reported injured.

After completing maintenance, the tug was being lowered into the sea when it suddenly listed to one side, taking on water, the report said.
