MacGregor Delivers Load Handling for New Accommodation Vessels

Two sizes of MacGregor's offshore cranes have each been specified for Marine Assets Corporation's new series of four accommodation support vessels being built at Fujian Mawei shipyard in China.

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured a contract that will see eight cranes fitted onboard a new series of four compact semi-submersible (CSS) offshore accommodation vessels for Marine Assets Corporation (MAC). Each vessel, under construction at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. in China, will feature a 60-ton and a 12-ton offshore MacGregor crane. Crane deliveries are scheduled to begin in August 2014 and finish by the end of February 2015.
