Global Diving & Salvage Acquires Offshore Divers

Seattle-based Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Offshore Divers of Anchorage, Alaska. As Global Offshore Divers, the new company will continue to be based out of Anchorage, utilizing the same personnel and management team that has served the offshore oil and gas fields in Cook Inlet and the North Slope for over a decade.

Global Diving & Salvage CEO Tim Beaver said that keeping Offshore’s existing management and staff in place was a key consideration in the acquisition, coupled with future project opportunities.

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. is based in Seattle, Wa. with additional offices in the San Francisco Bay area (Global Inshore) and Anchorage (Global Offshore Divers). Founded in 1979 as a diving and marine services company, it currently specializes in deep diving capabilities up to 1,000 ft, casualty response and marine construction activities. Capabilities include saturation dive systems, mixed gas surface diving, remotely operated vehicles, marine salvage and emergency response.

Global also offers a variety of Environmental services as well as engineering support for projects requiring technical underwater procedures and tooling.
