Wärtsilä's Acquisition Railko Completed

Wärtsilä Corporation announced an agreement to acquire the marine business of Railko Ltd. on May 18. The transaction has now been completed.
Railko Ltd. is based in UK and specializes in synthetic stern tube and rudder bearing technology. The net sales of the company's marine business is about $8.1m and the number of employees is 25.
Railko Marine designs, develops, manufactures and sells synthetic bearings. Railko Marine is application-focused and provides complete products to its customers. The products are used on all types of Commercial vessels, from cruise ships to cargo vessels.
