Wärtsilä Finalizes JMC Marine Acquisition

Wärtsilä´s acquisition of the Danish propulsion system service
company JMC Marine A/S has been finalized. JMC Marine is specialized
on propulsion system maintenance based on laser measuring technology.
The turnover of the company is $3.61 M with 28 employees.
The acquired company will be named Ciserv Denmark and it will
concentrate on service for propulsion systems and engine repair.
The acquisition consists of the laser measuring and alignment
business. It also includes vibration measuring, analysis and services
of monitoring systems and engine repair. The company will be
consolidated in Wärtsilä with immediate effect.
