Acronautic Launches Luxury 42.5-ft RIB

June 16, 2011

In a collaboration between Acronautic and Dariel Yachts the latest 42.5-ft RIB was launched on the lakes of Lago d’Iseo in Italy, this luxury dayboat is a divergence from the typical superyacht tenders focusing more on providing a  safe, practical, fast and super luxurious day boat.

Featuring a large comfortable U shaped seating arrangement in the aft, passengers can relax whilst in transit with ample protection from the elements provided from the overhead sports top and the large inflatable tubes which deflect any attempted ingress of sea spray. A harmonious balance of luxury and practicality is achieved with features such as strategically positioned grab rails bound in leather and carefully flared wind deflectors moulded into the forward console to reduce airflow to the passengers.

Performance on the Dariel DT13 custom vessel is realized by twin 350 hp Mercury Verado racing engine producing over 260kw power, powering the boat to in excess of 50 knots. This particular vessel is fitted with a 1140 litre fuel tank providing a range of nearly 300nm at an impressive cruise speed of 30 knots. Sea keeping ability is the true measure of any vessel and this Dariel is based on the proven Dariel dTender hull which offers a stable, dry and comfortable ride, often referred to as the Porshe of the sea due to its performance and handling characteristics.
This vessel has been designed and built for a repeat customer and during the negotiations process, Acronautic specified many additional options to improve the passenger comfort onboard, features such as a Nespresso coffee machine, built in dive compressor, refrigeration, advanced LED lighting and DVD surround sound system provide the small touches that are required to raise the bar on each new vessel. Every centimetre of space has been carefully considered, provision for shoe storage, sunscreen compartments and mobile phone dry storage are all positioned in logical and easy to access locations.
