Drydocks World Signs Agreement with NSC Holding

Drydocks World, an international service provider to the maritime oil, gas and energy sector, signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with German company NSC Holding, a ship management company located in Hamburg, Germany, managing 56 vessels.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi, VP – Business Development & Commercial, Drydocks World and Mr. Heiko Meyer - Managing Director of NSC Schifffahrtsgesellschaft mbH & Cie. KG.

The agreement, while securing increased business for the yard, will develop engineering and maintenance services for all equipment and appropriate to the specific structure of the ship to serve NSC vessels to the fullest.

NSC with obtain priority berthing slots, fixed pricing structures and preferential payment terms. To date Drydocks World has received 11 ship repair orders from the company. The most recent project carried out by Drydocks World was repair and maintenance of cargo vessel Atlanta, which sailed from the shipyard on October 7, 2013. The 185 m long and 32.25 m wide vessel underwent afloat repair and installation of twist lock pockets.
