June 16, 2004

Brunswick Commercial & Government Products (BCGP) and VT Halmatic Ltd. (VTH), two of the world’s leading makers of boats for military and commercial use, announced a joint marketing agreement to offer a wide array of products and services throughout the world.

Under the agreement, Florida-based BCGP and VTH, which is based in the United Kingdom, will offer an integrated line of products and services comprised of boats, ranging from 13 - 120 feet, and related parts and accessories for civil and military agencies as well as after-market technical support services to ensure operational readiness and on-station capability. The agreement, for which terms were not disclosed, takes effect immediately.

“This allows us to now offer a wider range of products and services,” explained Eric Caplan, BCGP director and business manager. “For example, previously 36 feet was the longest boat we could offer our customers. We can now meet their needs up to 120 feet, along with expanded after-market technical support. We believe VTH’s presence in various global markets will also open new doors.”

“For VTH this was an opportunity to partner with a respected manufacturer that knows the North American market,” Graham Foord, VTH manager North American operations, said. “We believe through such cooperation both companies will attract new customers and become more valuable to our current customer base. We will offer and sell whatever product from our combined ranges best serves the customer.”
