Inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) specialist N-Sea has extended its charter agreement with Siem Offshore following three years of operations. The renewed agreement, concerning Siem Offshore’s offshore subsea construction vessel, Siem N-Sea (previously Siem Stork), has a duration of up to six years, having begun on January 1, 2015.

The Siem N-Sea, a dive, multi-support and construction vessel designed to meet the needs of the offshore subsea industry, is one amongst N-Sea’s fleet of six dive support and specialist intervention vessels delivering a range of subsea services for offshore assets, platforms, FPSOs and renewables operations.

The ship, which achieves reduced fuel consumption through diesel electric propulsion, is equipped with azimuth thrusters, a DPII dynamic positioning system and N-Sea’s TUP Diving System. The vessel is also fitted with complete air and nitrox diving spread and daughter craft, WROV and Obs ROV.
