Alstom Wins Tanker Order

The Associated Press wire service reported last week that Alstom won an order for a new methane tanker from state-run Gaz de France. The order's - which actually currently is still simply a letter of intent - timing is critical, as Alstom seeks to put its financial house in order. Based on a finalization of the deal, the ship is scheduled for delivery in 2005.
