SUNY Maritime Announces 2005 Schedule
The SUNY Maritime College Department of Continuing Education has released its 2005 schedule for on-line Marine Surveying courses. This series of courses includes subjects such as hull and cargo surveying, container damage, hatch surveys, yacht surveying and a component on the Business of Surveying which includes subjects such as report writing and marine insurance. This on-line program can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection allowing students to work at their own pace from almost anywhere in the world. Each module is estimated to take about nine weeks to complete
The Continuing Education Department also offers Coast Guard approved training in STCW required subjects and license preparation courses up to 200 tons.
