December 1, 2003

The new 7,600 dwt product tanker BRO GRATITUDE, launched on 4 October earlier this year, has now been delivered from the shipyard in The Netherlands ahead of the original schedule. The vessel is the seventh in a series of eight similar double-hulled product tankers and has commenced her service under Broström's portfolio of cargo contracts with oil companies in the North European trade together with the sister vessels BRO GRACE, BRO GLORY, BRO GLOBE, BRO GALAXY, BRO GEMINI and BRO GENIUS. The final vessel in this series of eight newbuildings is expected to be delivered during the first quarter of 2004. BRO GRATITUDE is commercially operated by Broström whereas ownership is shared with Erik Thun AB on a 50/50 basis.
