MarAd -LNG DWP license application

The Coast Guard and the Maritime Administration (MarAd) issued a notice stating that an environmental impact statement will be prepared as part of the environmental review of the Calypso LNG DWP license application. The application is for construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) deepwater port (DWP) in the Atlantic Ocean approximately nine miles northeast of Port Everglades. A public meeting to receive comments on the project will be held in Fort Lauderdale on December 6. Written comments should be submitted by December 21. source: HK Law
