MarAd Approves Sale and Transfer of Five Vessels

The Maritime Administration (MarAd) has approved the sale and transfer of five vessels under section 9 of the Shipping Act, of 1916, as amended. MarAd has approved an application filed by Zapata Gulf Pacific, L.L.C., of New Orleans, Louisiana for the sale of the offshore supply Adam Tide Official No. 1062708, to Tidewater Boat Limited, New Orleans, Louisiana, a Cayman Island corporation, and the transfer of said vessel to Vanuatu registry and flag. An application has been approved filed by Twenty Grand Offshore, Inc., of New Orleans, La., for the sale of the offshore supply Ed Kyle Official No. 1135063, to Tidewater Boat Limited, New Orleans, Louisiana, a Cayman Island corporation, and the transfer of said vessel to Vanuatu registry and flag. TT Boat Corporation., of New Orleans, Louisiana has been granted approval of the applications filed for the sale of two offshore supply vessels the Collins Tide Official No. 1133382, and the Pattarozzi Tide, Official No. 1137027 to Tidewater Boat Limited, New Orleans, Louisiana, a Cayman Island corporation, and the transfer of said vessels to Vanuatu registry and flag. Victory Towing, Inc., of Seattle, Washington has been granted approval by MARAD for the sale and transfer of the freight barge J1 281 Official No. 590980, to Wayden Transportation Systems Inc., a Canadian company, and the transfer of said vessel to Canadian registry and flag.
