Asia Energy Logistics Sells Bulk Carrier

Hong Kong-based Asia Energy Logistics has said it has agreed to sell its bulk carrier MV Asia Energy.

In a brief statement on Thursday, Asia Energy Logistics said that on November 5, 2020, after trading hours, its subsidiary Asia Energy entered into a MOA with an unnamed buyer to sell the M/V Asia Energy bulk carrier.

The buyer will pay a cash consideration of US$3,300,000 (equivalent to approximately HK$25,740,000) for the 2001-built vessel.

Asia Energy Logistics bought the 169 meters long handysize bulk carrier in 2013.

According to the vessel's heatmap found on VesselsValue, the bulk carrier has in the past year operated mainly in Southeast Asia.
