March 2, 2011

According to a report from Bloomberg, Australia’s liquefied natural gas exports may more than double by 2016 as Asian economies increase gas consumption as part of government policies to diversify energy sources, the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences said. Exports may climb to 41 million metric tons in the 12 months to June 30, 2016, from 19 million tons this year.
