ITT Awarded $9.5M Deal

ITT Industries, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded
$9,562,205 for Task Order 5 for engineering and technical
support for the analysis, design, development and performance
evaluation of Electronic Warfare Support Measures (EMS)
technology in support of the Homeland Defense and Forces
Protection Initiative. The contractor shall implement critical
circuit elements using miniaturization fabrication techniques
for compact EMS equipment implementation for lightweight
shipboard and/or airborne applications. Work will be performed
in Alexandria, Va., and is be completed by February 2003.
Contract funds in the amount of $488,000 will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This task order was competitively
procured via the Internet and under a Request for Proposal with
one offer received. The Naval Research Laboratory, Arlington,
Va., is the contracting activity (N00014-97-D-2012).
