Healy & Baillie announced the addition of Peter Mills to the Hong Kong office. A former partner of shipping law firms in London and Hong Kong, he is well known in the maritime markets for his shipping litigation skills, with a particular emphasis on marine casualty work.

Nigel Binnersley, Healy & Baillie’s Hong Kong resident partner, stated, “We are delighted that Peter has decided to make this move, which will allow us to offer more services to our clients and Peter’s, especially with regard to “wet” work. Peter’s skills augment the strengths of the firm, while enabling his clients to access the resources of a global maritime firm.” Healy & Baillie Chairman, John Kimball, observed from New York “Peter’s extensive background in litigation and marine claims makes him the ideal candidate for servicing the needs of our clients in China and the Far East and is another sign of the firm’s commitment to the region.”

Mills, a New Zealander by birth, but a long-term resident of Hong Kong, added “I look forward to the opportunities that I am confident will result from combining my contacts and skills with those of Healy & Baillie.”
