Bangladesh Ferry Sinks In Storm

At least 28 people drowned and more than 100 were missing after a ferry caught in a storm sank in a river in Bangladesh, officials said.

"The ferry, carrying some 150 passengers sank in the river near Nabinagar, 80 miles east of Dhaka, on Monday afternoon," local district commissioner Lutfar Rahman as saying.

He said 28 bodies had been found and more than 100 were missing, but gave no other details.
