Viega Becomes Partner Member with SCA
Viega LLC has announced its membership with Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA), making it the first member representing the state of Kansas.
SCA’s mission aims to support and promote the American shipyard industry, which includes ship builders, repairers and the associated supplier base, by providing strategic information and expertise for Viega’s membership and advocating on their behalf before Congress, the executive branch and the media.
“Viega understands the importance of supporting the SCA and its members to help U.S. shipbuilders construct and repair today’s ships with tomorrow’s technology,” said Paul Switzer, Technical Manager, shipbuilding and offshore with Viega. “It is important to be a part of improving productivity and quality through advanced technology and processes.”
