Belarusian state energy company Belneftekhim said on Friday it had bought 80,000 tonnes of oil from the United States that would be delivered by tanker to the Lithuanian port of Klaipėda at the beginning of June.

Belarus has said it wants to diversify its oil supplies after a dispute with Russia over oil prices earlier this year.
