US boatbuilders OBX plan new models in its popular 2013 'Express' range of powerboats

The new models are:

At the Autumn boatshows customers were asking for a larger model that could be used for extended cruising and offshore fishing as well as smaller trailerable center consoles. Based on the demand, OBX is going forward with two new 38’ models and a 26’ and 24’ Center Console. These new models should be ready for launch in Spring 2013.

The 38 Walkaround and 38 Express will be offshore fishing boats with the comfort of a cruising yacht. They will blend the best of both worlds in an easily managed package.

The new 32 Walkaround will be a center console Hybrid that will feature a compact cabin and head but retain all the fishability of a center console.

The 26 and 24 center consoles will round out the OBX line and offer customers the big boat feel of an OBX in a smaller package. A 29’ model is in the plans for the future as well as larger flybridge models in the 40-50’ range.

OBX Boatworks have built their business on 15 years of Harkers Island boatbuilding tradition.
