Reuters reported that the Panamanian-registered bulker Global Star, grounded at km 210.5, Pasaje Talavera at 1105 local time on August 15. The 36,561 gt tanker was proceeding to Necochea from San Lorenzo, loaded with approximately 34,000 tons soya bean, draft 8.5 m. The 69,659 deadweight ton Global Star was still aground but not obstructing navigation. Lloyds said the NKK-class ship's management contact was Nissen Kaiun Co. Ltd, Ochi, Japan. - (Reuters)
