Celebrity Edge Ready for Sea Trials

Newly constructed cruise ship Celebrity Edge, built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique for owner Celebrity Cruises, left her outfitting dock Wednesday to join Joubert dock from where she will leave Thursday night for first sea trials.

The 315-meter Celebrity Edge, due for delivery later this year, is the first of four Edge Class vessels ordered from the French shipyard in December 2014. The remaining vessels are scheduled to be delivered in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
