SCI Awarded IMS Cetification

 The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd was awarded the Integrated Management System (IMS) Certification at its Head Office at Mumbai on 23rd December, 2015 by Arun Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) and congratulated SCI on “another feather in its existing hat of firsts”.

The certificate was received by Arun Kumar Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of SCI.
SCI became the first Indian Shipping Company to be awarded the IMS (QMS 9001, EMS 14001, and BS OHSAS 18001) certification across its establishment and fleet. 
The scope of IMS certification includes Owning, Managing and Chartering of ships for transportation of goods and passengers, Offshore and marine advisory services, Maritime training services and Port/Terminal Operations Management.
IMS is internationally recognized as an assurance to customers and stakeholders about delivering high quality, responsible and consistent results over time.
