Fugro Chance Wins $5.9M Deal

Fugro Chance, Inc., Lafayette, La., is being awarded a $5,900,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity
contract, for operation and maintenance of the "Scanning Hydrographic Operational Airborne Lidar Survey" (SHOALS) System.
Work will be performed in Lafayette Parish, and is to be
completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 24 bids
solicited on July 12, 2001, and one bid was received. The U. S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, Ala., is the
contracting activity (DACW01-02-D-0006).
