China Navy Commissions New Guided Missile Destroyer

The warship "Kunming", hull number 172, was officially handed over to the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN)  at a recent ceremony held at the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, informs Xinhua.

The new warship belongs to the new generation of China-made guided missile destroyers and has the capacity for both regional air defense as well as naval warfare reports Xinhua, citing official PLAN sources.
