Keppel Enhances Communication with Webcast

July 19, 2002

Keppel Corporation Limited (KCL) is maximizing its communication with the investment community and the media by providing a ‘live’ video webcast of its press and analysts’ conference on July 25 at 5:30 pm (Singapore time). This move is part of KCL’s on-going efforts towards raising corporate transparency and fairness in disclosure practices. KCL will combine the video webcast with a synchronised power point presentation, so as to enhance the clarity of its discussion of the financial highlights for the half year ended June 30, 2002 as well as the business outlook for the group. “By harnessing the multi-media capabilities of the Internet, the video webcast platform is a compelling alternative for KCL to reach out even more extensively to its target audience,” said Wang Look Fung, General Manager of Group Corporate Communications. “With the video webcast, we will enable all parties to benefit from equal access to our corporate financial information. Our overseas target audience will be able to hear our key messages and be duly informed without being disadvantaged by their inability to travel to our event,” she added. The webcast may be viewed by logging on to KCL’s website at www.alternatetv.com/kepcorp/1hfy2002/Index.asp. An archive of the webcast will be available for three months on the website.
