McMoRan Completes Test in Gulf

McMoRan Exploration Co. has completed a successful production test at its Flatrock discovery located in the South Marsh Island section of the Gulf of Mexico.
According to the company, the production test found a gross flow rate of about 71 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is expected to begin at the well by the end of the year.
