Port Congestion Surcharges in West Africa

CMA-CGM issued an announcement stating it will implement surcharges for all cargo due to port congestion in West Africa.

“Considering the deterioration of shipping operations in Douala (Cameroon), Port Gentil (Gabon) and Nouakchott (Mauritania), CMA CGM is implementing a Port Congestion Surcharge in June 2014,” the company said.
