From February 24 to 28, Transas Marine Pacific in cooperation with Transas HQ completed a simulation training course and distributor seminar for all Transas distributors in the Asian-Pacific region. Countries participating included Japan, The Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. It was the first organizational event of its kind held for the entire South-East Asia region. Sven Rasmussen, Director of Sales & Marketing for Transas International, said: “This annual meeting in Singapore is already becoming a firm tradition, which is an important step towards the further development of the Transas distributor network and raising professionalism of the representatives of the company in this area.” The subject of the seminar was the development of the Transas Distribution Network in the Asian Pacific region, its structure and further expansion. The participants focused on the promotion strategy for Transas products, their perspectives in the local markets and mutual cooperation between distributors and Transas HUBs. Specially for this annual event, a Navi-Trainer Professional simulator with three visual channels was constructed in the Transas office in Singapore. The object of the course was not only to train in depth its participants in the installation process for Transas simulation products and the principles of their operation, but also to reveal the key advantages of Transas simulator systems and the benefits they offer to users.
