MarAd Approves Containership Sales

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) has given approval to Global Shipping LLC, of Cumberland, Maryland to sale of the containership EWA, official number 530140 to Sea Lion Marine LTD., a St Vincent and the Grenadines corporation, and the transfer of said vessel to Tulva registry and flag for purposes of disposal.
The containership was built in 1972, by Skinner and Eddy Corporation in Seattle, Washington.
MARAD's approval is required under section 9 of the Shipping Act, 1916, as amended.
