Diana Charters Out Containerships to SeaGo Line

Diana Containerships Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of containerships, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it entered into a time charter contract with SeaGo Line A/S for one of its Post-Panamax container vessels, the m/v March.

The gross charter rate is $6,075 per day, minus a 5 percent commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum seven months to maximum 12 months. The charter is expected to commence at the end of June 2016, with the charter rate commencing ten days after the delivery of the vessel to the charterers.

The March is a 5,576 TEU container vessel built in 2004.
Diana Containerships said it expects the employment to generate approximately $1.22 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
