Duros has been contracted by Supply Chain Services (SCS) to provide service and new equipment for Ports America, the largest terminal operator and stevedore in the U.S. The multi-year contract includes the service of existing rugged computer hardware for optimal performance and the sale of the new Duros 1214 fixed-mount rugged computers.

The Duros 1214, which is engineered to withstand the rigors of shipping environments, will be mounted onto pick-up trucks and various industrial machinery throughout the ports.

Sealed to IP-65 and meeting or exceeding MIL-STD-810F, the Duros 1214 also features an ultra-rugged touch screen Polysilicon display and all-in-one aluminum housing.
