Dometic Environmental Corporation has won orders to supply air conditioning systems for up to 10 new-generation Israel Navy Super Dvora III fast patrol and attack craft. The air conditioning systems include a six-ton Cruisair chiller and multiple air handling units with computerized thermostat controls in all living and operational spaces. Dometic also supplied Cruisair HVAC systems for the earlier Super Dvora I and II vessels. The Super Dvora III high-speed patrol boats are being built by Israel Aircraft Industries’ Ramta Division, which has contracts to build 10 vessels. The versatile Super Dvora III boats are designed for all-weather littoral/brown-water surveillance, search and rescue missions and policing duties, as well as increased blue-water naval operations. The vessels are 27.4m (86 ft.) long, and 5.74 m (18 ft) beam, displacing between 58 and 72 tons, depending on configuration.
