Harvey Gulf Awarded Contract

February 1, 2008

Harvey Gulf International Marine, Inc. is proud to announce that it has been awarded a three (3) year contract from ENI Petroleum for their 240 Ft. ABS Certified DP-2, Offshore Supply Vessel “Harvey Provider,” which would be enhanced with a ”Reel Storage System” beginning in June 2008.

This “Reel Storage System” will be used to carry 800 metric tons of polyester rope or 90,000 feet of 3.75 inch wire rope that will enable the Transocean Amirante to be moored in greater water depths than its conventional mooring system allows by utilizing a 12 line, preset suction pile system. This vessel will allow ENI to reduce the number of days the company would have to spot charter hire AHTS vessels which will equate to huge financial savings to the company.
