Navy Contract Awarded

AEPCO Marine, Virginia Beach, Va.; Lyon Shipyard, Inc., Norfolk, Va.; Tecnico Corp., Chesapeake, Va.; and Norfolk Shiprepair and Drydock Co., Inc., Norfolk, Va., are respectively being awarded $11,263,245, $10,509,295, $9,937,138, and $8,354,556, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to furnish non-personal management, administrative and production services and required support to accomplish a full range of depot level requirements of Navy living barges and their auxiliary systems. These contracts have options, which if exercised, would bring each contract to a total cumulative value of $57,428,532 (AEPCO), $53,894,025 (Lyon), $52,579,162 (Tecnico), and $44,017,888 (Norfolk Shiprepair). Work will be primarily performed on 29 living barges moored at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Naval Station Norfolk, and Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, and at respective contractors' facilities. Work is expected to be completed by June 2006. Contract funds in the amount of $433,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This multiple award contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with eight final offers received. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, U.S. Navy, Portsmouth, Va., is the contracting activity (AEPCO Marine: N40025-05-D-5012; Lyon Shipyard, Inc.: N40025-05-D-5011; Tecnico Corp.: N40025-05-D-5010; and Norfolk Shiprepair and Drydock Co., Inc.: N40025-05-D-5013).
