Vericor Awarded Contract

Vericor Power Systems, LLC, Alpharetta, Ga., is being awarded a $28,484,200 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture, testing and delivery of 20 ETF40B marine gas turbine engines and four Pack-Up Kit spare engines for the Landing Craft-Air Cushion Service Life Extension Program. Work will be performed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and is expected to be completed by December 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-06-D-4107).
