Navy Awards Contract to AGI

The Navy recently awarded a major contract to The Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute, A Limited Partnership (AGI). AGI is pleased to announce was awarded a firm fixed price contract with a ceiling of $96,629,091.65 to continue implementing Enterprise AIRSpeed across the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) over a five-year period. Enterprise AIRSpeed is an enterprise-level, system of systems approach to aviation maintenance and supply designed to produce the right readiness at the lowest cost across the NAE.
AGI is teamed with Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC), Coalition
Solutions Integrated, Inc (CSI) and Mr. Laurin P. Eck (Independent Contractor)
to deliver Theory of Constraints (TOC), Lean, and Six Sigma in an integrated
approach to achieve the Naval Aviation Readiness Integrated Improvement
Program's (NAVRIIP) objective of achieving Cost-Wise Readiness. This effort
will include the design, deployment, and sustainment of 71 sites to include
intermediate maintenance activities, organizational maintenance activities,
aircraft carriers, and amphibious assault ships. It also includes applying
the Enterprise AIRSpeed methodology to the design of the new CVN-78 class
aircraft carrier, as well as Marine Aviation Logistics Support Program II
(MALSP II), the transformation of MALSP to support Sea Basing and
expeditionary maneuver warfare through significantly reduced logistics
footprint forward. As part of the sustainment strategy, the contractor team
will provide training and education across a wide-spectrum of activities to
include naval aviation leadership, AIRSpeed professionals, instructors, and
formal schools.
