Bechtel Wins Navy Contract

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Schenectady, N.Y., is being
awarded a $202,675,701 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for naval
nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in
Schenectady (51 percent) and Pittsburgh (49 percent), and is to
be completed by September 2009. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort was not
competitively procured. No additional information is provided on
Naval Nuclear Propulsion efforts. The Naval Sea Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity
(N00024-03-C-2906).
