Todd Pacific Wins $19.4M Contract

Todd Pacific Shipyard Corp., Seattle Division, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $19,391,989 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-4152) to exercise an option to support performance of maintenance, repairs and alterations scheduled for the Docked Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA) of the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The aim of the contract is to provide year round maintenance so as to maximize ship readiness. The contract facilitates modification and repair of ship's systems, shipboard equipment, and ship hull preservation. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Wash., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $19,391,989, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Intermediate Maintenance Facility, is the contracting activity.
