Quest Joins Corrocean

CorrOcean ASA of Norway has announced the acquisition of Quest Consulting Ltd. (QCLI) based in Aberdeen and with a branch office in Perth, Australia. QCLI was established in Aberdeen in 1989 to provide Specialist Integrity Management Engineering Consultancy Services to the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and also to the Energy, Mining, Defenze, and Utility Sectors. Managing Director, Ken Woolley said, “this is a great opportunity for us to join with a larger, and like minded, organization, which should enable us to provide an even wider Service Offering to our clients and greater development prospects for our staff” This transaction was arranged for QCLI by Aberdeen based Mergers & Acquisitions specialists, Chate & Co. The acquisition will strengthen CorrOcean's capabilities in key locations, and within an area that is central to the Company's Asset Assurance concept. The competency of the companies is highly complementary, and the union represents a significant step for CorrOcean towards becoming a global Asset Assurance partner to its clients. The exploitation of QCLI's software solutions will strengthen CorrOcean's position in existing international markets. The acquisition follows CorrOcean's strategy of strengthening its competency and organisation in order to supply its full range of products and services in all locations where it is established
